Terms of Service

1 Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using IntelliFarmAI, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you may not use the App.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be published within the App and on our website. Your continued use of IntelliFarmAI following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2 Eligibility

IntelliFarmAI is intended for agricultural professionals and farmers. You must be at least 13 years old to use this App. By using IntelliFarmAI, you represent that you are of legal age and have the authority to enter into this agreement.

We reserve the right to verify your eligibility and may request additional information at any time.

3 Account Registration & Responsibility

Creating Your Account

To use certain features of IntelliFarmAI, you must create an account by providing accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and password.

Agric-Care Uganda Limited is not responsible for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to maintain account security.

4 License Grant

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download, install, and use IntelliFarmAI on compatible devices for personal agricultural use only.

Restrictions

You may not:

• Copy, modify, distribute, or sell the App or its content
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive source code
• Use the App for commercial purposes without written permission
• Attempt to access or use the App if you are not an authorized user
• Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the App
• Transfer your license to another person or entity

5 User Content & Data

Your Agricultural Data

You retain full ownership of all agricultural data, images, soil test results, and information you provide through IntelliFarmAI. By providing this data to the App, you grant Agric-Care Uganda Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use, store, and process your data solely for the purpose of providing App features and improving service quality.

Content Guidelines

You agree not to upload or provide content that is:

• Illegal, fraudulent, or violates any laws or regulations
• Sexually explicit or contains adult material
• Harassing, threatening, defamatory, or abusive
• Infringes on intellectual property rights of others
• Contains malware, viruses, or harmful code

6 Disclaimer of Warranties

Agricultural Information Disclaimer

IntelliFarmAI provides agricultural information and recommendations based on AI analysis and third-party data sources. These are not professional agricultural advice. You should:

• Consult with licensed agronomists or agricultural experts for critical decisions
• Verify recommendations with local agricultural extension services
• Consider local climate, soil conditions, and farming practices when making decisions
• Not rely solely on App recommendations for significant farming investments

You assume full responsibility and risk for all decisions made based on App recommendations.

7 Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Agric-Care Uganda Limited shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Loss or damage to crops, harvest, or agricultural yields
• Damages arising from your reliance on App recommendations
• Damages caused by third-party services integrated with the App

In no event shall Agric-Care Uganda Limited's total liability exceed the amount you paid for the App (if any), or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

8 Third-Party Integrations

IntelliFarmAI integrates with third-party services including Firebase (Google), Mapbox, OpenWeather, and iSDAsoil. These integrations allow us to provide features such as:

• Cloud storage and authentication
• Map and location services
• Weather forecasting
• Soil data analysis

Agric-Care Uganda Limited is not liable for service interruptions or data issues caused by third-party providers.

9 Intellectual Property Rights

All content within IntelliFarmAI—including text, graphics, logos, images, code, and algorithms—is the property of Agric-Care Uganda Limited or licensed partners and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or transmit any content without express written permission. Unauthorized use may result in legal action.

10 Acceptable Use Policy

You agree to use IntelliFarmAI only for lawful purposes and in a manner that respects the rights of others. You will not:

• Attempt to access unauthorized parts of the App or its infrastructure
• Use the App to transmit spam, viruses, or malware
• Attempt to interfere with the App's normal operation or security
• Use the App to harass, threaten, or defame any person or entity
• Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to extract data from the App without permission
• Misrepresent your identity or provide false information
• Violate any applicable laws or regulations in your jurisdiction

Violation of this policy may result in account suspension or termination without refund.

11 Termination

Termination by You

You may stop using IntelliFarmAI at any time by deleting the App from your device. To fully delete your account and associated data, contact support@agric-care.com.

Termination by Agric-Care Uganda Limited

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
• Abuse the App's resources or other users
• Fail to maintain accurate account information

Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. We may retain anonymized data for analytical purposes.

12 Fees & Payments

IntelliFarmAI is currently free to download and use. Core features remain free indefinitely. If we introduce premium features or in-app purchases in the future:

• We will notify you in advance of any charges
• You must explicitly opt-in to any paid features
• All fees will be clearly disclosed before purchase
• Refund policies will comply with Google Play Store guidelines

By making a purchase, you authorize Agric-Care Uganda Limited to charge your payment method.

13 Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Agric-Care Uganda Limited, its directors, employees, and partners from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

• Your violation of these Terms of Service
• Your use of IntelliFarmAI in violation of applicable laws
• Your agricultural decisions based on App recommendations
• Your violation of any third-party rights
• Content you provide or upload to the App

14 Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Uganda, without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Kampala, Uganda.
