Open Proofly, tap the scan button, and point your camera at the receipt, warranty card, or document you want to save. Proofly automatically detects the edges and sharpens the image for a clean, readable scan.
Your scanned documents are saved directly to your own Google Drive account. Proofly does not keep separate copies of your document files on its own servers β you stay in control of your data.
Proofly needs Google Drive access to back up your scanned documents and to let you retrieve them later, even if you switch devices or reinstall the App. You can review or revoke this access anytime from your Google Account permissions.
Use the search bar in Proofly to look up documents by name, category, or date. You can also browse by category β receipts, warranties, medical, academic, and more.
First, check that you're signed in with the same Google account you used originally, and that Proofly still has Drive access under your Google Account permissions. If the issue continues, try signing out and back in, or contact us using the details below.
You can scan documents offline, but an internet connection is needed to back them up to Google Drive and to sync across devices.
Documents saved by Proofly live in your Google Drive, so you can delete them directly within the App or by removing the file from Google Drive itself.
