Install VoxReply from Google Play, grant microphone and storage permissions when prompted, and share or record your first voice message. The app will then transcribe the audio, detect the language, and offer you options to translate, generate replies, or speak a response.
Long-press the voice message in WhatsApp or Telegram, choose "Share," and select VoxReply from the list of apps. VoxReply will open with the audio ready for transcription and translation.
VoxReply supports a growing list of African and international languages, including English, French, Swahili, Luganda, Arabic, Portuguese, and more. Support depends on the underlying AI and translation services, and the list may expand over time.
VoxReply uses advanced AI models that perform well on clear audio and common languages, but no automatic transcription or translation is perfect. Background noise, accents, technical vocabulary, and uncommon languages can affect accuracy. We recommend reviewing AI output before relying on it for important communication.
Yes. In the Share screen, you can edit the original transcript, choose between the suggested replies, or type your own before translating and generating a voice response.
Check that your device's media volume is turned up, and that another app (such as a call or music player) isn't holding audio focus. If the issue continues, try closing and reopening VoxReply, or restarting your device.
Transcription, translation, and voice generation require an internet connection because they are processed by cloud AI services. The app itself will open offline, but full features require connectivity.
